On est arrivé!

Last half-day in London. Slightly sad, but super excited to enter France after 6 years. The British Library is right by St. Pancras train station in London, and there is currently an exhibit called "Evolving English: One Language, Many Voices," so we checked that out before our train to Paris. Pretty interesting. Check out this quiz to find out how much you know about English:

L'Arc de TriompheL'Arc de Triomphe et La Tour Eiffel
Arrived in Paris mid-evening, and drove through the streets toward our friend's house in Gennevilliers, a suburb. Zooming through the streets at night invigorated me in a way I had not expected. French coming out of my mouth actually tasted better than the frosting on the cupcake in my previous post. It all happened quickly, without much time to let it soak in, so when I woke up this morning, it was almost as if I had dreamt it. I went for my routine morning run, and found a nice park in the neighborhood, with a small hill in the middle. When I got to the top, I spotted the Eiffel Tower, blurry in the distance. Je suis arrivée. I am actually in Paris. :]
